How do I find a roommate on Lyvi?

Create your profile, set your preferences (location, lifestyle, university), and browse matches. Send a match request to anyone you'd like to connect with.

How does roommate matching work?

Lyvi matches you based on your university, graduation year, lifestyle answers, and location preferences. The more complete your profile, the better your matches.

Is Lyvi free to use?

Yes — the core experience including browsing, matching, and messaging is completely free. Premium features like priority matching are available at $4.99/month.

How do I verify my profile?

During onboarding you can add your Instagram username or connect your LinkedIn. This adds a verification badge to your profile so others know you're real.

What if a match doesn't work out?

You can unmatch at any time from the chat screen. The other user will no longer be able to message you and your conversation will be removed.

How do I report or block someone?

Tap the three dots on any profile or in the chat screen to report or block a user. Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours.

How do I update my preferences?

Go to your Profile tab → Personalization & Interest to update your lifestyle preferences, or Profile Settings to update your basic info.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion at lyvi.io/delete-account. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
